8 NYCRR 68.13: circular, approximately 1-3/4 in. Outer band top 'STATE OF NEW YORK', bottom 'LICENSED LAND SURVEYOR' (or 'LICENSED PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER AND LAND SURVEYOR'). Inner circle: name above the Great Seal of New York, license number below with no other letters or numbers. Ed. Law §7209(2a) also requires an alteration-warning stamp on sealed items.
